Michael Spears has over 25 years of experience in complex modelling and analysis of technical and financial datasets. He has technical experience of designing, developing and implementing information systems.
Michael has worked on projects in both the private and public sector to support planning/prioritisation systems, analyse data quality and support statistical analysis of large data sets. He has led teams within client organisations and managed projects delivering results on time and to budget.
Michael has a BA (Hons) in Economics from Kings’ College, University of Cambridge.
Outside of Hartley McMaster, Michael coaches his children’s football teams. He is deeply committed to reducing his family’s carbon footprint, from renovating their house to the highest energy efficiency standards, to taking part in a vehicle to grid trial. He can often be seen at lunchtimes working on his personal carbon budget spreadsheet looking for optimisations.
